Freight Flow
Freight Should Cost vs. Market Rate vs. Supplier Quote Analysis
The Freight Flow dashboard allows users to look up should cost estimates and market rates for LTL and TL shipments β compare against supplier quotes to identify savings opportunities.
π Key Assumptions & Scope
- Should Cost is based on dry van trailer equipment and Freight Class 50 for both TL and LTL
- LTL should cost is calculated from trailer utilization % using an industry-standard premium model
- Market Rates are non-negotiated prices β currently available for NA lanes only (requires US ZIP codes)
- Version 2 focuses on NA freight lanes. International lanes from V1 remain accessible
